Not every page is worth your time
Every section gets one of three tiers. Must-know sections open by default; skippable ones stay closed, so the shape of the document is visible before you read a word.
Core material that carries the exam. Full notes, the most practice questions, and the deepest flashcard coverage.
Worth understanding, unlikely to be the difference between a pass and a fail. Covered, but not drilled as hard.
Revision history, legal boilerplate, further reading. Summarised so you know what it was, and no questions written from it.
How it works

You see the page count, the word count and the estimated cost before anything runs. Nothing is spent without your say-so.
It reads and ranks
The document is split into its real sections, each one ranked, then written up as notes and multiple-choice questions with explanations.
Study and drill
Read the notes, sit the test, then build a flashcard deck scheduled by spaced repetition so the material actually sticks.
Accounts are free while StudySift is being tested. Each account gets 30 study pages a week — two or three chapters — with a flashcard deck included for every pack you build. Documents are capped at 12 pages for now, which is a limit of the hosting rather than of the product.
A study page is 500 words rather than one sheet of paper, because a dense page costs roughly three times what a sparse one does. Charging by physical pages would quietly penalise exactly the people uploading the hardest material.
